Ingredients
  1. 3/4 cup melted butter (plus about a tablespoon to coat dish)
  2. 2/3 cups chopped walnuts
  3. 1 cup flour (I use white)
  4. 1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons (put tablespoons aside for berries) of white sugar
  5. 1 egg
  6. 3-4 6-ounce containers of raspberries (I just love them, so use more of them than the others)
  7. 1 6-ounce container of blueberries
  8. 1 6-ounce container of blackberries
Instructions
  1. Butter a large size pie dish (I often use a big casserole dish). With this volume of berries, be prepared for it to have LOTS of juices, so bigger, deeper dish is best.
  2. Toss berries with 2 tablespoons of sugar, but sometimes I do much less. Maybe even leave it out.
  3. Fill your dish with the berries.
  4. In a bowl, mix all remaining ingredients. With so much hot, melted butter, be mindful not to add your egg directly to the melted butter or you'll have scrambled eggs čÖé I often mix in my butter thoroughly first, then add the egg after. Once fully mixed, gently spread over berries.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes on 350 F. Be careful taking out of the oven as it will be very juicy and messy. You can serve it after it cools or even cold. I LOVE it both ways! Refrigerate leftovers (what leftovers?!)
Notes
  1. A BIG crowd-pleaser that is as easy as it gets to make! I love to serve it with some high quality, rich vanilla ice cream or gelato, and drizzle some juice over that. OMG, you'll be berry, berry happy and so will your guests!
